Children's Day In Advance

Our school celebrated the Children's special day on the 29th sep. Wah! you cannot imagine how the children can have fun and enjoy themselves.

A parent asked me, "So, you all are going to have burger lah?" But is it the eating of burger or the process of celebrating with all their friends.

The children danced the 'Chicken Dance' and the teachers also danced for the children.

What a two-way ticket that day.

This boy came to enrol in the Hub. He went to my house on one weekend in Kota Tinggi with Edison.

We flew kites at the football field in front of the District Officer's house. I taught him to tie the thread and how to roll the thread to a used can. This boy was to enthu that he did not observe fully what I did.

He successfully flew his kite till he finished with all the thread. But..... he did not fastened the thread unto the can....his kite flew away. He was very very sad, yelling 'my kite' 'my kite' but it never returned.

I consoled him and discussed with him where he had gone wrong. We went to get a new spool of thread and he will try to fly again when he goes back to his 'boat'. He has been on the boat travelling round the world with his parents for the past 5 years.

Eunice's Trip To Timor

It had been quite some time that I signed in this blogspot. My daughter is encouraging me to carry on sharing. How?

Eunice went off to Timor on 15th Sep. She was still in JB late on 14th. She is a fantistic lady.

I belief trully that if we are doing so God's business, there are bound to have some spiritual attack.

My school was hit twice with the HFMD. Thank God no H1N1.

17th Sep, the aged tree in front of the school fell, smashing the fence, telephone cable and ....the electric cable. It was hanging above the fencing. The school was out of electric supply. Total darkness in the building and buildings around the area. Edison, Lynda and I got to free from it and took cover in Kota Tinggi.

Thank God, for we are in his hands. Eunice came back on 26th as scheduled with mission accomplished.

She basically enjoyed her trip and with fulfilment.

New Church Building

I was invited to visit the new church building at Jurong West by Elvin. Out of the blue moon, i was in singapore. Met my friend who was back from timor. But she wasn't around during the service.

Esther helped me choose clothings from Bega. We got a few satisfactory ones. After church service, had delicious dinner-Ichiban, then back to JB.

Chinese New Year

Esther had been requested to prepare a dinner for her in law and relatives. We smuggled a lot of things in to s'pore. She was a great cook now. She managed to acomplished the task and everyone attended the dinner were to the brim.

I was indeed very proud to know that. It is always my honor.

The Brought Forward Malaysia National Day

1st Sep, a brought forward public holiday. I was in KT. Thinking to repair the fish pond but ended up helping in the shop. It was indeed a very busy day. The staff were all having their offday. David and myself had non stop duty till we knocked off the day. Both of us had no time for lunch. Anyway we were very happy and satisfied. Tired.

Read some of my assignment on my daily devotion for Theology course. When i looked back, it is really worthy to keep track of what i ever encountered, thought or done.
The experience could be a track for my future gauge of my improvement here and there.

Sometimes i do have lots of things to share but i think i express better in mandarin.

Now that all of my children are just round my corners, eunice is back to take her place. Pary that God will lead us and guide us wherever we need Him.

Science Centre Educational Trip=A MIRACHLE

14th March, the children from my school together with teachers went for an educational trip in Singapore. We had exciting time like, the custom official opened new lane for my children to go through the declaration (to and fro), at the Sc. Ctr. the MC that day approached me to enquire where do we come from and how come they are so cute, adorable, knowledgable, language spoken was nice.......

MIRACLE........ before we went for the trip,parents always called to see if i can postphone the trip. Of cos not, cos everything was planed, the bus, the driver, the Singapore pass so on. They were all worried about the weather, cos had been having heavy downpour for the pass few days and also the heavy traffic jam during the return journey cos of the man named Selamat who was not selamat at all.

My reply to them was, sorry we got to stick to it, everything will be fine. Then i pray hard to my God.

God listened to my prayer. Early in the morning, it was sunny. It will definitely going to be a pleasant day. Amen

Then, after the fisrt exhibition gallery, teacher Devi approached me, telling me that she lost her hand bag. Goodness, her passport and IC!!!!

She is the oldest teacher in my school. I was worried she got over anxious. So i brought her to the reception corner with sofa in it. Ask her to sit down, relax, give her a cup of soya drink.

After releasing some tension, she started to recall where could she possibily misplace her bag. After a while, she told me that she would go to the Discover Corner to see. I started praying when she went off.

She felt peaceful knowing that she is going to find it. I rested in the sofa with air-con. I were actually very tired. God knows my limit.

TEACHER DEVI CAME BACK WITH HER BAG SHORTLY.

Thank God. Thank God.

We ended our trip and non of my children got hurt, non missing.... they were all overjoyed.

To my surprise too, I did not know how God sent his angels to open the traffic for us. What i know is, even the driver said, how come it's some smooth. We left Sc. Centre at 4 pm. After S'pore and M'sia check point clearance in mass, we arrived the school at 5.30 sharp. You know the parents said i might arrived the school after 7 pm. Ha..Ha.. thank God.

The Super Duper Memorable Carpet

Lixin is getting married. tShe is looking for a carpet to be placed in the dining area. After having our carpets in my house, she definetely has a certain of standard when choosing a carpet, right?

Praise God that both Elvin and Lixin told me about having a carpet like mine. The size that she gave me is 2.3 x 1.7 m. Estimated to be 160k of cut threads. 550 rolls of yarn. She wants a combination of black, grey and white. I put the ratio as 3 : 2 : 1. Everyday we need to complete about 3 500 threads in order to have the delivery in time.

I had finish 76 rolls of yarn. I thought of doing more this weekend. But.... the thread ran out. Cos the new stock has not arrived yet. I ran round the town to see if even i can find some. ai, even till Johor Jaya i went, i can't even find 1 single roll.

I tried again in KT, but after 10 shops i surrender. Will wait for the stock to come next week.

I planned to do OT next week cos 24th to 30th March i will have to attend the Theology Course, totalling to 30 hours.

Pray that God will bless me with good health and strong body.

Qiu Hong is going to marry this September to a brother in China.

The whole story is very dramatic. How God told the guy about his future companion. How then God confirmed and brought the two together. ....

Qiu Hong has passion for gospel in China for the past few years. She has been stationed there to do God's work. I had been together with her when i went for short mission trip. She is a wise lady, listening to God's prompting a lot. A very good leader.

Pray that God will lead and guide her in everything that she do.

Hard Feeling/Comfort

After a hectic CNY session. Almost everything resume its normal phase. For the whole of the CNY holidays, all of us chat, eat, sleep. Ha! We watch CJ7. It's very interesting.

Send off John on the 10th. I still have not pulled myself together, but the next morning, 11th, my brother called from Jakarta about the assasiantion happened in Dili. Wahdoh! I was so stressed. Unable to continue with my work even though it was the first day after the long holidays.

I put down everything, prayed, then i called Eunice. She was fine and in fact i were the first one to inform her. She got to confirm with the Dili staff. Anywhere I prayed that she will be in good hand.

I travelled back to KT twice, went for movie, Kung Fu Dunk..........in the week.

Sometimes, me too, cannot claim to be very steady and strong.

My brother called me another time in the evening on Monday. He showed much concern and normally is not his style. At the age passed 60, he is not more Teng Xiao Ping or Mao Zhi Dong.... Now that we are able to communicate well. Thank God that all my siblings are in good term. What i need is to carry on to pray for his true salvation.

The Twins

Tracy, Elvan and Ivan's aunt called me when i was shopping in Jusco. Their mum is single mother, got pregnant before married. The man was irresponsible or they are still sorting out whether to stay or separate. Goodness, the children is now 3 years old, the adults were still 'want' or 'not'. Crazy!
The mum got to work in a pub, smoke a lot, bad temper. She put the children with me end of last year. Something confused her, she withdrew. You could really see that the children were confused and very emotional, crying most of the time and always ask "Do you love me?"Poor thing.
The aunt said many things happened that she really couldn't work. The father passed away, now that the nanny refused to look after the twins. Daytime they can be with us in the school but how about nighttime? Their mum need to work. The aunt depressed. What on earth is this?
She requested me to help by keeping them in the school with me that she and here sister are able to concentrate working.
Oh God, can i help?

Wedding Preparation

Too bad that the Japanese restaurant is closed for CNY from today onwards. Poor lixin and elvin..... Fortunately something a few doors away satisfied them.
Both of them were busy with work, study and now the preparation for their big day.
Hope the printer that they approached will do a good job for them. The two even help their friend to source out the printing cost for invitation card.
Glad that their discuss and always agree on what they want. Now they are still looking for door gift.
Oh, What can i do to help them?

Chinese New Year

Had good time listening to all my children communicating at the same time and also the lao ba. New year without one of them, is a little...... But we approached the relevant personel, I knew this tough lady will stay. She always keep her promise and will not want to do something that she will regret one day.
At times a promise is a promise. Is sealed and there is no turning back. That reminded me of the time when i was having my theology lesson after i came back from ET. We were asked "If Jesus is destined to be nailed, and He knew it at the very beginning, why must pray to God to remove the cup and also why He cried "Father, father, why have you forsaken me." Yet He obeyed till death.
i really coundn't express my feeling towards this issue. Is tearing in my heart. Why should this man whom i do not know got to bear my sin and die for me that i may reconcile with my Father.
And in actual case, i have done so little towards His death for me.

Sibling Gathering

Ever since i attended Alvin's wedding in Jakarta, visited my brother's office and factories, we started to have dinner whenever my elder brother comes back to Singapore. We take turns to host, my turn was 1st jan. and tomorrow cindy's. Then he will go back to indonesia on 3rd Feb. she is going to treat us japanese food, the japanese restaurant near my school. Esther, Elvin and John ever had meal there.
Building a relationship is not too easy, what more to maintain. We will cherish these precious moment.

So Called My God Son

Edison is finally promoted to Grade 2. He has to memorise 5 bible verses and the Lord's prayer. The first day he memorised the 5 verses. Mdm Sia gave him a credit by writing in his book 'Good, well done'. The next day he did his Lord's prayer. He passed. He was glad that he is now doing his Grade 2. He hoped to finish them before the year end. Wo! very ambitious. I will pray for him that his aim will come to pass.

Joy Of The Lord

Thaipusm, off day for me. Had breakfast with Kuang and David. Ex house cleaner came to the restaurant with her daughter. I invited to join and had a little chat. The daughter is now a mother of 3 and the owner of a car service centre. She insisted on settling the bill. She started to share about what i help her while her mother was working for me. ....i fed her medicine while she was sick..... i gave her biscuits.... Why i did not remember. Praise God for what i had done that he may be glorified. "Love thy neighbor as you love thyself"

Alice's mum was traumatised by the mosquitoes outbreack. She stayed near my neighborhood. I offered help to give the enemies a lesson. Had the 1st spray on 25th Jan. She called me on 26th at 9.30pm. She was overjoyed as the situation was 90% under control. She wanted to try get her neighbors to do the treatment. Her children enjoyed the 1st outdoor activity on Sunday since they moved there.

Mentioned Alice's mum's situation to teacher tan, she asked me to prepare brochures for her to pass to her neighbors too. Her estate was bad too. She wants her neighbors to know that the condition can be control. Ha ha, new business???

pest control

Look like everybody is talking about mosquitoes. My school also have the outbreack. Parents like being chased by moquitoes. Feel like they will withdraw if it is the case. I allowed the new children to wear long pants and i apply tea tree oil for them. Inside of the building, i sprayed Fendona, on the electric insect repellant.

What is most effective is when i sprayed the school compound with Cypermethrin on 20th Jan. at 7.00 pm. I monitored closely the second morning and noticed that only 1 found. I decided to do another treatment on 23th. Em.. it worked. But i pray that it will last long to fight these irritating small creatures.

I told teacher tan about it. She wanted to give it a try. I gave her 50ml to 16 litres of H2O. She found that it helps too.

I am going to be more diligent to do it every week.

Thank to my maid also for helping me carry the sprayer. It is indeed heavy.

learning to blog

thank esther for teaching me how to blog. she took almost 30 mins briefing me. at times, i felt very honor to have all of my 4 children. all with different character but love God and their siblings and parents. Patient enough to guide me of the new tech. Thank esther foong too. she kept her promise to create a blog site and indeed she completed it the first minute she touched singapore. I am extremely blessed. The youth!!!!!! and i am the senior youth!!!!!
